The Community Foundation for Ocala/Marion County announces the launch of its new website, OcalaFoundation.org, on December 5, 2018.
The newly designed website features information for nonprofits, estate planning advisors and donors with specific fund information as well. The site contains a directory of local nonprofits, a nonprofit event calendar, current funds held at the Foundation and much more.
New and existing donors can find information about setting up funds and ways to give in our community. Nonprofits can find directories, fund information, and professional development trainings. Access to exclusive nonprofit resources is reserved for members of the NonProfit Business Council, a program of the Community Foundation. Estate planning advisors have a wealth of resources such as a section on conversation starters with clients interested in creating a giving legacy in their families and in our community. Additional information is available through the Estate Planning Council for Marion County, also a program of the Community Foundation.
The Community Foundation is home to several existing funds including the Ocala Skate Park, Youth Philanthropy in Action, Guardian Angels Medical Service Dogs. Easy access to those donations’ pages is now available on the website as well.
The Community Foundation for Ocala / Marion County leads donors to become philanthropists by helping them select and manage investments into causes that align with their personal mission. The Community Foundation’s mission is to connect the charitable interest of donors to build a strong community.
