Ocala, FL (April 2, 2021) — The NonProfit Business Council, a program of The Community Foundation for Ocala/Marion County, announces the upcoming meeting of the membership on Tuesday, April 20, 2021 at 8:30 a.m. to be held at the Ocala Police Department Community Room, 402 S. Pine Ave, Ocala. This meeting marks the return of in-person gatherings for the NonProfit Business Council after more than one year of hosting virtual events. Social distancing and mask-wearing protocols are still in place until further notice.
Guest speakers for this month are Cheryl Martin and Nick Bennett from Marion County Community Services discussing “CDBG Grant Funding“, a potential revenue source for nonprofit organizations that deal with public infrastructure, housing, economic development, property acquisition, and more.
The Community Foundation for Ocala/Marion County is Building a Stronger Community…One Passion at a Time. Programs include the NonProfit Business Council, the Estate Planning Council, and the new Nonprofit Resource Center in partnership with Marion County, the City of Ocala, the Marion County Hospital District and Advent Health.
