Support the Vet Resource Center Fund
The mission of Vet Resource Center, Inc. (VRC) is to provide education and information to Veterans and their families about the benefits they have earned and resources that are available for them. It also provides website-based benefit and resource information at VetResourceCenter.com, free website creation for Veteran Related Organizations, and an email based monthly newsletter.
The VRC is a 501(c)(3) Public Charity. It is a 100% volunteer organization and is actively presenting the veteran resource information to Marion County, Florida resident Veteran Clubs, American Legions, VFW’s, Veteran Councils, Church Groups and more.
VRC conducts the majority of its activity on the Internet by providing a website, VetResourceCenter.com, this is already operational and currently has over 400 links to organizations that provide resources and benefits to veterans and their families. It is projected to grow to over 800 links by the end of 2024. VRC also provides free internet websites to veteran organizations so that they can better serve their members and make them aware of the VRC linked resources. VRC will email a monthly newsletter to everyone who has registered to receive it.
Our major links to veteran resources are for national programs that are valid and useful for veterans, wherever they are. We plan to expand the regional and local links from Marion County and Central Florida into the remainder of Florida by the end of 2024 with veteran volunteers in Tallahassee, Orlando, Tampa, and Miami. They will supply the links and contacts for the vast number of regional and local resources available in their areas. Our vision for 2025 and 2026 is to spread into 20 states with veteran volunteers identifying their regional and local resources for inclusion into our website.
