Dawn Phelps

Dawn graduated from St. Leo University through their satellite campus at Central Florida Community College (now College of Central Florida) with a degree in Business Administration. She founded and managed the original Santos Trailhead Bicycle Shop with her husband Michael while homeschooling their four children. As the kids became involved in sports, they sold the business. Dawn focused solely on raising the children before returning to the work force. In previous roles she has developed business plans and policies that have increased productivity and assisted with accomplishing objectives. She continues those objectives in her current role as Director of Operations of the Community Foundation managing a diverse range of administrative, operational, and programmatic tasks to ensure proper business operation while assisting with the development and implementation of the strategic plan, setting goals and direction, and assuring alignment with the mission, vision, and values of the organization.
