Community Foundation for Ocala/Marion County Recognizes Local Philanthropists
Community Golden Circle honors donors who have given over $1 Million
Ocala, FL (March 17, 2023) – On Friday, March 3, 2023, at the inaugural Inspire Gala hosted by the Community Foundation for Ocala/Marion County, the foundation announced the first two inductees into the Community Golden Circle.
The Community Golden Circle honors those philanthropists who have given over $1 million through the Community Foundation in support of various charitable causes. Local philanthropists Bob Reilly and Rich and Deb Bianculli were the inaugural inductees into Community Golden Circle.
“When we began to plan the inaugural Inspire Gala, we felt it was extremely important to honor those individuals that have been instrumental in the growth of the Community Foundation and nonprofits in our community,” said Lauren DeIorio, President & Executive Director of the Community Foundation for Ocala/Marion County. “When setting the criteria for membership in the Community Golden Circle we discussed what level would highlight those that have given above and beyond. We set the criteria at $1 million given through the Community Foundation and two names appeared on the list. It is our distinguished honor to welcome Bob and The Bianculli’s as the inaugural members into the Golden Circle.”
“These generous individuals are inspiring examples of what makes Marion County a great place to live. They have not only been generous in support of our community but have been visionary in identifying new and different programs to meet the needs of our people,” said Frank Hennessey, Founder and Chairman of the board for the Community Foundation for Ocala/Marion County. “They ask for little but give much. Their work with, and on behalf of, our nonprofit community is simply humbling. It is with great pride that we welcome them into the “Community Golden Circle. This is an honor that my friends Bob and The Bianculli’s deserve.”
The honorees received personalized Montblanc pens upon induction into the Community Golden Circle. New members of the Community Golden Circle we will be inducted annually at the Community Foundation’s Inspire Gala.
